game development
interdisciplinary fun
My interest in game development stemmed from the use of games to study cognitive processes when I was a Research Assistant at the Dunsmoor Lab for Learning, Memory, and Emotion early in college. Amazed at the widespread applications of games and itching for creative work, I have since gained game development skills as a Game Producer, Designer, Programmer, and 2D Artist; and UX Designer.
My background in art and neuroscience supplements my work as a game developer. My proudest game dev experiences so far have been in “Beat ‘Em Up,” where I mentored a team of teens through the development of a Unity prototype at Game Worlds and in “Cows Vs Aliens,” an Alt Ctrl co-op arcade game that my team and I put our hearts into since the beginning of its development at UT Austin.
